DUB WAR vs SUB:STANCE w/ SCUBA (Hotflush), and APPLEBLIM (Apple Pips, Skull Disco)

This month the Dub War crew showcases two artists who are at the forefront of the emerging strain of minimal techno-inspired dubstep. Scuba is from London but now based in Berlin, where his Sub:stance night is drawing massive crowds for its innovative re-thinking of techno through the bass-heavy lens of UK dubstep. Meanwhile he continues to release groundbreaking music on his Hotflush label.

Londoner Appleblim made his name running the Skull Disco label alongside Shackleton and mixing the legendary Dubstep Allstars for Tempa. He is now focused on his new Apple Pips label, which is at the forefront of the minimal dubstep movement with seminal releases by Martyn, Ramadanman, as well as his own productions.
