I feel the same way. Having PDDNOS… or very high functioning autism isn’t all that different… I suppose the biggest difference between you and me is that no one could understand me when I was younger. Trust me, having a horrible speech impairment doesn’t help the situation and that’s just the tip of the ice berg. Lucky after working with speech pathologist for about 13 years, it’s hard to notice. Anyway, I understand your frustration of not having any friends that you can relate to… that’s why I’m joining these PDD groups.
