is rainy. But that didn't bring me down:-) I came to Oslo on Thursday evening and got up at 7 the next morning! I normally sleep til 12, so that was pretty early - just picture yourself getting up 5 hours before you normally get up, and you'll know what I'm talkin' about! Just the curse of being a night person, I guess. Anyway...
So Interaktiv Frokost (interactive breakfast) is a fun morning program in the tiniest studio you can think of, and also with the nicest people. It was short and sweet, I felt like I had my 15 minutes of fame right there. I did two songs and got to show off my t-shirt protesting against high voltage power lines - I was quite the political singer/songwriter that day.
The best part of the day, however, was the livingroom gig the girls I stayed with organised for me - invited 40 people, hired some speakers and a mic, all in 2 days notice! Make note for future reference: you don't need a venue where whoever's booking bands plays hard to get (or so it always seems, I know they're usually really busy, but just to make a point here...), to get a fantastic gig - just get your friends to organise it for you! And get some boxes of red wine, that usually helps too:-)
So, that was my solo Oslo trip, next time I will bring the whole kids with me!
