i had the strangest dream and it's one of those days where that dream just ain't gonna go away and i'm all foggy and trying to remember if talking to you was in that dream or if we did actually talk. in the dream, or maybe it was for real, we talked philosophically about living a short ugly life with much tragedy and angst and how sometimes that is all a person gets. and then we looked in the paper and there's a picture of a woman doing yoga with her dog and the complete separation from reality for that woman is fascinating. She probably carries all kinds of stress with her about getting the dog to class on time and whether or not the dog is actually good at yoga or if he needs practice and all i can think about is the difference from that life and the hard heavy losses and absences others have. and then, as dreams do, i walked out of the house and started making out with a bike messenger.
