Los Angeles, CA – SEPT 21, 2009 - - Due to popular demand Astrella Celeste will return to the music industries hottest showcase venue to perform a month of Thursdays, kicking off Oct 01, 2009,

Astrella’s hits the ground running…  since her move back to Los Angeles from her island home in Mallorca, Spain, Astrella has already confirmed the very rare and highly sought after residency at Hotel Café.

Together with some of the best talent the music industry has to offer.Astrella will perform with an ever changing group of players.  Week one will feature Femke Weidema (Music Director, acoustic guitar & BVs), Skinny Tubs (of the Jane Doe’s on electric & bass guitar), B.Rad (of the Jane Doe’s, The Beat Maker) with special guest Michael Railo (Piano).

Along with her live performances, Astrella has also been invited into the recording studio creating re-records from WARNER CHAPPELL from their legendary library of music.  Working with producer Carla Olson and studio owner / engineer great Andy Waterman as they assist to incorporate the Astrella “sound” on one of the all time great Van Morrison hits “CRAZY LOVE”.  Joined by “the band” mentioned above, this cover is sure to be a must have by any music lover and perfect for film and TV placement.

Astrella has also been spending time in the Jane Doe’s studio as Skinny Tubs and B.Rad produce a haunting rendition of EMF’s “UNBELIEVABLE”, which has already captured the attention of music supervisors and fans alike.  In fact EMF’s own, DJ Milf is currently putting his touch on this moody version saying “Mate, What a sweet vocal, haunting, Shades of Portishead but better. I am all over this… could be meaty, beaty, big and bouncy”.

And if that wasn’t enough the flamboyantly brilliant John X has opened his studio for Astrella to create a string of DONOVAN covers, starting with “WEAR YOUR LOVE LIKE HEAVEN”.  Armed with Astrella’s MD, Femke Weidema whose unique approach to arrangements lends for the perfect combination of sounds as Astrella breaths life back into her fathers catalogue.
