So when you're 15 and you're picking band names, you don't think of things like, in another 15 years, people are still gonna like the music you wrote when you were 15, and that band will still have a name.  Problem being, a bunch of other bands have that name.

Basically, and obviously, Myspace is confused with all these bands called The Orphans... so no, we haven't gotten back together and changed our sound or anything.  There's an Orphans from pretty much every country, every state... but if you find an Orphans song that sounds like something other than angry, snotty, zany punk rock, then it's not us.  You can check our DISCOGRAPHY (in a blog on this page) if you're confused about what we've done, and haven't done...

I'm not worried, or bitter, or writing anyone threatening letters.  Honestly, I don't care! (And we actually did copyright the name and first demo, and the logo...not that it matters)... just letting folks know we're aware of it, and if you think you've found something obscure or new we've done, buyer beware!

However, there is no excuse for any MORE bands called The Orphans!  There's this crazy secret thing called Google... take your pick of bands that share the same name!
