Ok, now this may seem a bit odd, but I just got back from a Styx Concert.  I forgot just how much of their music I listened to growing up...

This was in a small venue (about 800 people), now I realize that most of the band members have changed.

Tommy Shaw, James Young and Chuck Panozzo are the only pre-1999 members), and only with Chuck going back to 1961 (gawd yes 45 years ago, Oi Veh), with James joining them in 1970, and Tommy in 1975.

The New Band does GREAT.

I really have to take my Hat off to Lawrence Gowan, Dennis De Young's shoes were mighty big shoes to fill, and he did more than a fantastic job.

As the Keyboardist, Lawrence orchestrates the show.  I can not believe the energy everyone had on stage, they played nearly a two hour set, it was wow, awesome.

I could close my eyes, and they took me right back 30 years, wow, whats really neat is that they still sound the same.
