 Its officially too hot to cook in this house!!! I am going to build a solar cooker this weekend. I think i'll try the cardboard box method first. If I am successful, then I will venture in to a more fanciful one. P.S If anyone has any mature fruit trees I would like some cuttings. I know most fruit trees don't bare fruit/good fruit from cuttings, but its more just to see what I get out of it and practice.

Hey, did you ever do anything with your plans for recycling grey water? I want to set up a grey water system. I am trying to find more cost effective options.

Not yet, I would have to crawl under the house to hook up the plumbing from the bathtub and I am afraid to go under there. If I can find a person that wou do it for me i'd be all over it!! They sell prefrab kits in So.Ca but I am not sure if they make you provide permit info to buy them

Ya, I don't even know how that would work at our house, because it cannot be crawled under... unless i can find an intelligent enough burrowing animal. The only kits I have seen are expensive, because they are the kits that filter into and out of a septic tank and seap into a secondary holding tank...mucho dinero.
