Current mood:  pissed off

Ok, let me start off by saying TIME WARNER CAN KISS MY ASS!

Now that that's out of the way....this all started  a couple of weeks ago...we are buying a house and the people that were living there had not cut off their cable, which in turn means we can't have ours transferred until theirs is cut off. So I called after they finally told me that the people had the service turned off, this is where it gets good. So apparantly with all the "college kids" coming to town, TW can't transfer my services for 2 weeks because they are SO busy. I said are you serious....2 weeks without cable, internet and phone...you've lost your fucking mind. Well they said I could have the internet and cable hooked up but had to change my phone number. I went on to tell them this is the 21st century and people have to live by these things, I also told them they needed to hire more people if they can't handle the calls coming in....and went on to tell them I will be switching my service to Grande because they can have it turned on sooner. Well skip to today....come home and we're sittin' here doing our thing, and the cable shuts off. I go outside and low and behold there's a dude coming off the ladder, so I said excuse me (with my hand on my hip) he said, oh yes...you have a transfer? I said NO....WTF, I think after bitching at the dumbass people at TW they put in a request to transfer and have my services cut off before I even move out!!!! GOD I WANT TO SCREAM. So he called the dispatcher people and so I had to go over the whole damn thing with her....and I told her that the reason I am switching is because they cannot get their shit together over there and that it'll take 2 weeks to have anything turned on. She said ok and scheduled my total disconnect for wed. Jack said he was sittin' inside for a while and was like shit I better go check on her, she's probably beating the shit out of him. lol  But here's my thing...you'd think after someone has been with them for 7-10 years that they'd at least TRY to do something about it, instead of hookin' up other peoples stuff that probably is not getting everything that we have (phone, internet and cable, hd and dvr). Now back to my story....SO I called Grande and they said that yes I will have to lose my number (which FUCKING SUCKS) but they can still have it hooked up faster than TW. So it's the whole fucking phone system that is the hold up for everything....so the girl at Grande said to call TW and have them put the little message thing on the phone that says the number has been changed...the new number is....blah blah blah....WELL they don't do that....I was again like WTF....I told the girl, I might as well shoot myself cuz anytime I have business that needs to be done, noone can FUCKING help me....so now i'm stuck with a new number and grande is coming out on sat. Everything we have signed up for and resumes we've sent out have our other number on it....oh well I guess....I told Jack everytime I see a TW truck Im throwing eggs...I will keep a cooler in the car full of'em!

LMFAO. That shit happends to us all the time. We have dish networks, right. Well with SAT TV they require you to have a phone line hooked into your SAT reciever. Well, when we got it hooked up at this house, there was not a phone line nearby, so we told the instaler guy to skip that step, we didnt need it anyway.Everything is fine and dandy. Well, the other day, the reciever clunks out on us so we sent in for a new one ( free of change ). When it comes in, we set it all up again the same way ther last one was, and call in to get it activated with our same old shit. Well, we keep getting this error message about the phone line not being hooked up, and we cant get any further. So, DN says "Oh, you have to pay us to come out and install a phone line, or pay us an aditional $5.00 extra each month to bypass the phone thingy. I was like, dude, wtf are you talking about; we've never had to pay for not using a phone line with this service. Well, to make a very fucking long ( 3day ) story short... we told them to fuck off and we were going to go with Direct TV. We call back to disconnet the service, and the lady says she'll put in some code that will bypass the $5.00 and we should be able to get past the phone error message. NO. That didnt work. So, we got a real long phone line and hooked the damn thing up. when we got past the phone error message, we just disconnected the line. All is well. If that $5.00 charge is on our bill, its going to be ON.

So Sasha, jack, i feel your pain! Oh, and fuck your Kudos, stop being a cry baby. J/K

DUUUUUUUUUUDE, that freakin' SUCKS!!!

I F'n had corporations sometimes... I've had a run in a time or 2 in my day - Customer Service just isn't what it used to be -- but sh!t can you blame 'em - most are paid sh!tty, get sh!tty benefits or none at all - overall disgruntled.  But enough of feeling sorry for them â get a new Fân job if you donât like the current one!!  Anyway, I say you should have just egged the disconnect guy â that would have definitely made it interesting â hahhaha  Man, I would have loved to have seen that

Sorry 'bout the sh!t... hope Grande treats ya better.  Nothing like a spanish named company to add a little spice - ARRIBA!!

yeah hopefully it's all worked out now, it's just frustrating! And the disconnect guy didn't speak very much english so I don't think he would have understood what was going on! lol I was trying to be as nice as possible to him.
