Fertile Ground "The Heavyweights of the Underground" hail from Baltimore Maryland. They are often classified as Soul-Jazz. However, their musical genre can be described as a cross-cultural fusion of all things spiritual mixed with funk, and political fused with pure spontaneity and raw, danceable compositions.
