HEY! We actually got the CD done... With a little help due to the fact that I will be leaving Ottawa for the next 5 months. Great way to promote an album, eh? Release it then leave?
All is not lost for Ennuie, however. We are stoked to have the CD done and out by the first week of May. Please message us if you would like a copy and do not live in the Ottawa area. If you do, the CD will be available at our two tour dates (Ottawa and Montreal the first weekend of May) as well as your friendly independent record stores.
It has been a long time coming to have the album done and will be a pleasure to play two of my favourite cafes in Canada - Avant Garde (you best believe we'll be brining our own arsenal of music video DVDs) and L'Escalier (MTL hippie haven).
While I'm gone from Ottawa, Luca and I plan on still writing and recording (internet and post office styles). We should also have a website out by then for further sensory explosions ennuie-related.
It is bitter sweet to leave but it will be quite inspiring - the journey I will be going on. Hope to see some new and familiar faces at our upcoming shows! Thanks for all the support so far and keep checking out new local music.
