As the year draws quickly to a close, I like many of you are getting out Holiday cards, figuring out just how many people can actually be on my Christmas list and wondering if I can indulge in all of the Holiday treats without any noticeable gains. :) I too am planning all of the wonderful new things I am going to do in 2009 in regards to my music and how to better deliver the multitude of new songs (despite the fact that I haven't changed a song on my Myspace in forever) that I am constantly writing and performing. I mentioned in an earlier blog about purchasing a new video camera and at that time my intentions were good, I even had a sudden influx of cash, but alas there were other things that needed attending. Yet being good on my word I have just recently purchased a new Sony HD-HSR11 camcorder. What does this mean? Well, for starters I will be doing some sort of video for all of the songs on the new CD; I will also post videos of new songs I am working on in a very straight ahead format (meaning no bells or whistles, just me, guitar and the camera) and I might even catch the videoing bug and go crazy with artistic videos of totally randomness (though not too likely). And all of these will be shot in HD, that's High Def, meaning everything will be more vibrant, more fun and more in your face than any other video I might have shot before (if indeed I had shot any video before). So in closing, please indulge me in my finally jumping on the DIY video train, I look forward to dazzling you - at least I will try.
