Hey Gang,

Sorry I haven't been around much lately, but I have been really busy doing the Gibson clinics, and the last of the Ratt shows...I wish the guys the best of luck, and I want to Thank them for the great times I had with all of them. But I feel its time for me to start FINALLY getting my act together with my solo career as well as my book...I admit I have been a little lax about getting this stuff done and out there to you, but it IS coming soon...I did start a couple of tunes, to be released on Itunes, and I had the good fortune of having Audley Freed (Black Crowes) play guitar on a couple of tracks....I am excited that I have been getting offers to come to places in South America, Europe, and Japan to come and play, once the band is up and running...Which brings me to my next point. I will be playing the Rock the Bayou festival on August 30th at the Meridian. I guess its the after party, and I will be playing acoustically. I'll be playing some material from my past, as well as some of the new songs I've recorded, plus a few covers that I enjoy...I hope to see you there...Also don't forget to vote...Just watched the Democratic National Convention, and Barack Obama's speech tonight...Doesn't matter to me who you vote for, just don't sit on your ass and do nothing to voice your opinion, then be one of those that screams the loudest when shit ain't right later...Anywho, hope you're all doing great, and I hope to see you all soon....!!!
