What's up good people?!
I am back from the Ontario leg of the 'Lick Shots' tour featuring Notes to Self & DJ BABU!
Honestly, all I can say that the week was special for me. I am not one of those MC's who thinks they are too cool to show excitement and passion for music. This experience was an incredible one for me. I got to rock some good shows, met some good people and partied heeaavy! haha!
On a serious note though, it really was an honour to open up for Babu and watch him do his thing. He's truly a legend and it was ill being able to kick it with him and his manager Dru. They are both real humble good people.
Notes To Self is like family to me so you know we had fun as always and they kiiilled it every show. Everyone who came out to the shows were definitely fans of good music and supporters of it. (Much love to everyone who did!)

So for me now, I just plan on keeping this momentum going and continue to do shows. I have been working hard on my next project and other new material I will be hitting everyone up with to listen to.
I also have more shows coming up in the next little while. My homegirl, Danielle, is throwing a number of fundraisers to help to build schools for the marginalized indigenous women and children of Wayanad, India. By building these schools, we will be helping to save these children from child prostitution, child labour, and other disturbing fates.

And then I have a show that is going to a crazy party:

(*That one is going to be something insane! haha!)
I will be keeping you all more informed on what's happening with me and I'm going to make sure I have good things to report. I really appreciate the support.
Thanks to everyone who showed love and wished me well on the tour too! It's definitely appreciated as well.
