thursday afternoon. can't wait to get the fuck out of work and just chill w/ my pup...
thought i'd give you all a Capital Radio update -
first off, big thanks to Rancid for hooking us up w/ SUCH amazing shows. we kinda weren't super great in Worcester (tough to hear anything on stage) but we totally killed in NY! if i can get away with boasting, of course!
the kids in Worcester made us MASS proud and the kids in NYC, while giving us a hard time for my red sox cap definately seemed to have fun and danced, clapped and partied with us the whole way.
thank you to Rancid, Sick of it All, big D and the kids table, and of course, our new friends and old friends in NYC and Worcester, MA.
what's next? well, vacation! its summer! Tim (drummer) is out of town til sept 8 or something, so we're gonna lay low and just chill for the next two weeks. dogs, girlfriends, kids and jobs all should benefit w/ more love time.
in sept it looks like we might play Providence on the 14th w/ the Brunt of It, a kick as band full of kick ass people, and then on the 21st we'll play in boston, which, i think (and hope) will be an all ages show. our friend Shawn is doing another bill w/ us on it and we can't say thanks enough...
you'll be hearing about any and all shows through the bulletins but in the meantime, just hang tight - when tim gets back we'll have some new songs on itunes, some new videos on our website and myspace page, and some new rock songs for you to go off to!
have a great rest of august and a safe labor day - take a second to say thanks to the unions and hard working motherfuckers who never get any recognition or any props like the DPW and Forest Rangers and stuff. its THEIR holiday, not some fucking rich pricks holiday. for a change.
