A couple of Saturdays ago we got an offer to work at the local subsidiary of an international multimedia & sound engineering academy. The deal is that those guys need bands to play so that they can learn the recording process.

We didn't have much time, it was early Saturday afternoon, most of us had a killer hangover (I know I did) so we decided to do a couple of pilots for new songs we were working on and a demo of one pretty much finished, unrecorded song. That's "I know".

The song was recorded in one take, without the keyboards. The vocal is just the pilot vocal. This is it. The whole band in one room, one take. It turned out really nice so we decided to leave it unchanged and didn't even mix the levels. It's all pure blues, the way we felt that cold, gloomy afternoon.
