Welcome to Scullyville

Is an album being made up here in the Highlands in tribute to Buck Easly
Buck, a fine North Carolina fiddler who sadly passed away 2 years ago, a close family friend of Doug Rorrer (another wonderful musician)
I was lucky enough to meet Buck once in Doug's kitchen, where he passed me some of his old photos. What a lovely gentle man, who played for many years with 'North Carolina Rambler' Lonnie Austin.
Lonnie being one of the finest ever American old time fiddlers from the early 20's, living a long time, mentoring many on his way inc- Buck, Kinney & Doug Rorrer, Kirk Sutphin and even Doug's son Taylor.

The Old Lights of Home' is a true story of driving good friend James Gailey home from Aberdeen hospital to Tain after spending 4 months in hospital missing Christmas. The look on his face was truly unforgettable when he saw his wife again, his chair, his garden.
Jim contributed half of the lyrics for this which is what makes it special.
Hope you enjoy the snippets
With love
Martin
