What is up with the people (walking around in nice clubs and bars) these days? (coming from a guy that does actually care)

Say you ask whatsup, they tell about theirselves... you have a fun evening, you decide just to keep thing the way they are, no too big hugs, goodbyes, kisses or.. ya know...just keep it to the good talk, enjoying the time uve been together, the little dance you had or whatever, just that.. how is it that in the end one of the two somehow ends up disappointed? whatever happened to having a good conversation with someone without it ending up wanting something more?

can someone please explain that to me??

why is everything we do these days based around needs, belongings and getting boozed up and having some some?

Maybe its the drinks talking, but im gonna sleep...cause i need it....

take care, much love
Airto

Keeping in short and real! People are so desperate to find their purpose in life. They are too quick to jump into things thinking it will cure some desperate need to be loved or wanted. They don't just stop and enjoy the little things that come their way. In the end they miss out on a good friendship that could've been. And, their left still craving the next big thing.

My grandpa once told me that in the days before TV and internet and all this modern tech, people would gather with friends and family and talk, laugh, have fun and connect! children didnt have Xboxes, but they we're perfectly happy with playing with a few stones and marbles, he said, and could have fun playing with those for hours, and although poor and modest, they were happy..he was right! Nowadays, we've lost the human connection! we have robots doin peoples jobs, soon we wont need people. We watch tv instead of visiting old friends, we dont go to the post office, we pay our bills through the internet, we dont go and buy a cd from the store where we can meet people with the same music-taste, we download it! If a stranger smiles at u, we cross to the other side of the street, if people say 'hey' we're like 'WHAT!?!' We emotionally lock ourselves up.. Then comes the drinking :)) Thats when the cage opens and people become these desperate creatures of desire and personal needs, that blinds them from connecting with someone through conversation and friendship, they just need to satisfy their needs right away and dont give a crap about others... But what can you do?? :)

Hi!
It was very nice listening to a beautiful and"raw" voice (like you put it).
You are amazing.
Don't you promote your talent elsewhere than u tube and myspace?
Have you had any gigs outside the netherland?
There are sooooooo many, too many bad singers that are signed. How come you have not got an album out yet.
I know it is not easy, but trust the people that compliment you.
You can and you will make it big if you stop the side jobs.
You are meant to be a singer.Listen to your heart.
If you are scared "feel the fear and do it anyway".
A new fan and friend from London.

i think it's the media brother... hardly any music now on MTV for instance, just reality shows of guys and girls going out to clubs or bars, and doing the aforementioned deeds. media's projection on society astonishes me... but the good news! WE are the media. so as long as we're in control, things wont get too bad :)

Yeah I know exactly whacha mean... Every weekend I see the same scenario at the clubs here in Switzerland... you see a lot of guys getting drunk and thinking they cool and smooth just because the don't have the courage to talk to the opposite sex when they don't drink. Do you feel me? And on the other hand they start to get mad cause when the night is over they don't get the sticky icky icky, if ya know what I'm saying.

I totally agree with you, Airto. I just enjoy a good conversation cause my opinion is that you can learn from every person in the world something new. Even from the older generation, which is so disrespected nowadays. I loved my grandpa... and I loved him, especially when he told me storys bout the past, when he was in war and when the times were really hard. R.I.P. Feliciano! I love ya!

Today everything is sooooo much easier to handle with our Internet and stuff and people don't even appreciate that. But you see... I'm drifting away from the origin theme.

What I want to say is... Peepz... jus' keep cool and enjoy life. Life is so damn short and we only have one.

Just ma' 2 cents...
