Current mood:  drained
Hey there!

This was a super fun week for me!   It was my birthday, so, I took some time to myself.    Some time to relax at the spa, get a facial (not the adult kind!), and splurge with a two hour body massage.

I was thinking about my own personal fitness goals, and how hard I work at the gym.   I know it's always easier with a trainer, because that creates accountability.   You have to be accountable for everything you ate.    It also helped greatly when I was taking classes in Los Angeles at $14.00 per work out!  (I made sure I worked out hard, and made the most of my money!!!)

Now, living on a farm, I don't have that.   I go to the gym often, but, I don't seem as motivated by myself.    I found this really cool website where I could be accountable, and have friends that would support me.   For some people, staying in shape is just natural.   But, for me, I have always had to work at it.   I could never sit idly by, or my hips would blow up!

I remember one time on this airplane.  I sat next to this guy that was literally spilling into my seat.   He must have been over 300 pounds.  I didn't mind so much, but, I did begin to mind when he started drinking vodka, and he reeked!   I hate the smell of alcohol, especially on someone's breath.    And then, he started eating cookies that were literally rolling down his stomach onto me.    (the crumbs).    At that point, the guy was just obnoxious, and I just wanted to sleep.    So, I asked the stewardess if she could move me to another seat.    I didn't want to seem rude, but, then, he wasn't caring a bit about me.    He said to me, "Well, you're small, it comes easy for you."    I couldn't believe he said that to me.    I looked at him and said, "Do you have any idea the amount of cheesecake (which I LOVE) that I've turned down?   Do you have any idea of the arduous hours I spend in the gym?    Do you have any idea of the amount of sleep I've forgone just so I can get to the gym?   Being small has not come easy for me, it's a choice.  And I certainly don't choose to spill my food on strangers."   He didn't say anything back, and I hope that he didn't feel too badly.  It wasn't my intention to hurt his feelings.   I really just wanted sleep.

So, back to this website!!!  http://www.slim.com/go/g1105158  It's free to join, with no credit card, and you can meet other people that have fitness goals.   Whether it's to stay in shape, and keep motivated, or whether you want to lose 5 pounds, or 100 lbs.    It's just a great place to be!     Hope to see you over there!   What are your goals?

Oh, gosh, kiddo!!  I would love to work out with you!!  So agile, so nimble, so beautifully sleek, so  graceful, so feminine, so delicate, so effortless, so natural, her feeling, her spirit, her expression, her senses ... We would want it to be a complete experience for you!!

Hello Jacklyn, Happy Birthday to you, beautiful. :-)

I wish I was the one who sat next to you on that plane.    Umm, what I mean is not that I wish I was obnoxious and spilling food all over you.   What I mean is that I'd like to sit next to you on a plane and for you to fall asleep and rest your head on my shoulder.   I'd have made sure you'd gotten a sweet sleep.

Regarding staying in shape ...

I personally stay in shape by running twice a week and by lifting weights using the methods of body builder Mike Mentzer.  Mentzer was a world champion body builder and I think his physique is the best I've seen.   His "high intensity" training means you only work out half an hour to an hour once every four days or so, although I stretched it out to a week.  :-)   The great thing about lifting weights is that it turns fat into muscle and to sustain muscle takes lots of energy, so you can eat at the same time.  In fact, for body building you're required to eat to gain muscle (and you can decide how much you want to gain).   There are two things I stay away from, sugar and too much salt.   I've done well with this.

grew up watching gluttons and at an early age I learned about nutrition.
overweight because you born that way or medical problems is one thing
but just lack of will power is another and horrible to watch.  am not huge
myself but past few years had health issues which made me less active.
am not overweight but just need to get back in shape so am working on it
just by becoming more active for one however even when real sick
I forced myself to swim so I just think if you do not move it you will loose it
type of thing.
prefer to work in a physical job where am on the go btw I do massage lol
anyhow, do not blame you on your view and if the guy feels bad so what
he needs to learn manners or how to wear a bib lol
