Football Camps have kicked off this last week and one of the early talks is the NFL reinstating Michael Vick.. He will be suspended from the first 6 games of this season but is allowed to return to any team that decides to give him a chance... So this is where the debate begins- should he be allowed to return?
My humble opinion is he paid his debt to society. Dog fighting and cruelty to animals is an offense that should be dealt with harshly- like going to prison and losing millions of dollars- which he has.. By all early accounts he has taken this time to grow as a person and surround him with people that are better influences in his life..
Personally I think he needs to change position from QB cuz I don't think he was that great as a QB without missing the time away from football, or going to the Canadian Football League and working on his skills..
A couple teams have taken a look at him (Patriots & Dolphins) and we will see what his future holds.. I just think he deserves the chance to redeem himself.. You can't be punished for your crime for eternity- this is Life, not Hell.. We all make mistakes and that is the catalyst for changes in our Life..
