Okay. So I have had this myspace page for almost a year now, and this is my first blog entry. And what has promted me after all this time to suddenly post something? Let me tell you.
I am currently on tour in Northern B.C. (Terrace to be exact) and am just about to get in my van and drive like a crazy woman North to the Yukon. I have been on tour for a week and a half, and have so far seen one fox, five deer an four bears. Yesterday, I passed by the site of the massive mudslide along the number 16 that killed two people, and drove through crazy thunderstorms between Prince George and Houston the day before. I bought and am enjoying eating Bison jerky. I found a goldmine of old 45's at a roadside fleamarket, and I met a dog named Taffy with a pink plaid hat outside of Hope.
And yet all of the above facts are not the reason why I post this blog. During my travels thus far, I have been treated to warm hospitality from people whom I have only just met who have opened thier homes and shared their stories with me. For this I am beyond grateful, and am once again reminded that there is a wealth of truly kind people in this world. Thank you.
