and I was a passenger along with others. We were fleeing some situation and relieved to be getting clear of the past. The subway was a train and it ran above ground and outside the windows was beautiful greenery in full summer. It's really nice up here, I thought. The driver was only a few seats ahead of me and I could see that we were reaching the end of the line. The mood changed as we slowed to the end of the track. There was a mountain wall. The driver was concerned and said "This isn't good" and I knew he was thinking we were going to have to turn back. He stepped out, closed the door and when he walked on the gravel I looked to the ground and could see a severed head, a finger, and other fleshy bits that were probably body parts. The driver pushed a hand aside using a long stick and then looked up alarmed - he heard something threatening approaching but the train started rolling backward. He looked at me panic'd and I went to the drivers seat to stop the train but there was no brake. Faster and faster we went backwards abandonning the driver to some horror, the train going so fast we were surely going to crash. I pulled up on the steering and the brakes engaged. The train screeched to a stop and fell over. I could hear the other passengers screaming and while I knew everyone was okay now, we were going to have to leave the train and face whatever horrible predator awaited us outside.

Not quite the refreshing dream I was hoping for-

Wow, sounds like you read too much about the Greyhound bus murder trial. Sometimes our dreams are spiritual, psychological or emotional messages. This seems like one of my information nightmares. I get them so bad sometimes I have to stop taking in the news until I "heal". I'm particularly susceptible when I am trying hard to be spiritually or emotionally open for some other thing. Take the time you need.

Interesting. There are a few things that are true about me: I don't shop at the majors, I don't like beets and I don't watch/read/listen to the News. The News is too upsetting for me. I prefer to live without knowledge of so-called current events. I don't need to know how the stock market is doing. I prefer to be surprised when it starts to rain. I admit I somewhat like borsht but also think I'd probably eat crap if it was covered in sour cream. Anyway, someone was processing this bus horror to me recently so you may be right. Two glasses of wine tonight and I'm in my pjs hoping for puppies and sunshine. axo ps.

I'll own that damage. The Greyhound event has taken up residence in my mind, just out of the corner of my eye, where demons are born. Not that I am connected to the event, only to say that I am affected.........Intuitive dreamwork (for me) works one of two ways -- and in this case, I did neither and that's why my own damage appeared in my comments. Dreamwork is either immediately intuitive or it's intuitively analyzed. I did have an immediate reaction but dismissed it (having something to do with negative male influences on your sexuality) because of my own damage from the Greyhound event. I didn't intuitively analyze the dream for the same reason. ........The demon appeared in the corner of my eye, and it was all I could see.....
