[10] The Stiletto Formal : This Is My Boomstick

Why : The Stiletto Formal are amazing. It's not as much as a mindfuck as Masochism..., and it's way to short in my opinion [only four tracks]. Those reasons are the only reason it's not further up in my list, as the songs are incredable, especially ...Tastes Like Black Licorice

[9] Russian Circles : Enter

Why : One of the few instrumental bands I have no problem sitting through. It truely is a mindfuck, and mindfucks are good 99% of the time.

[8] Umbrellas : Illuminare

Why : Dancy, Catchy, and dare I say, Beautiful. Just like their Self-Titled, but better. Not to mention the acoustic "Tests On My Hear" reminds me of why I love The Lyndsay Diaries

[7] Underoath : Define The Great Line

Why : Because Aaron Gillepsi has an annoying voice and Spencer roars like a fuckin grizzley bear all over the place on this.

[6] Saves The Day : Sound The Alarm

Why : Because Chris Conley isn't singing in falsetto. Definately a throw back to the Through Being Cool / Can't Slow Down days, and I fuckin love those days.

[5] Brand New : The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Of Me

Why : Because it's awesome, but some songs kinda seem to be filler.

[4] Portugal. The Man : Waiter, You Vultures!

Why : Every song in this cd is different. Ranging from soft and slow to heavy and dancy. Nic from Gatsbys American Dreams guest vocals are amazing.

[3] Trophy Scars : Alphabets, Alphabets

Why : So fucking intense. Everything on this album sounds so sincere, the lyrics are great and it's fucking tight.

[2] I Would Set Myself On Fire For You : ..Believes In Patterns

Why : This album is solid. I have no problem listening to it from start to end, never bothering to skip a track. Even the instrumental tracks work, with nice breaks from the heavy with songs like This Is Our Home and Country Song.

[1] Fear Before The March Of Flames : The Always Open Mouth

Why : It's amazing in every way. Still has the shred of Odd How People Shake and Art Damage [to an extent] but with more melody, more experimentation, more electronics, and bad ass lyrics. Not the typical metalcore / post hardcore / etc bullshit.

HONORABLE MENTIONS :
Wolverines / Sibling Project : Split EP - Cause Wolverines fucking rock
Gatsbys American Dream : Self-Titled - It's like Volcano, but more pissed and dancey
The Blood Brothers : Young Macheties - It's better then crimes, and Giant Swan is amazing
Brazil : Philosphy of Velocity - They can rock like Queen 800000 times better then My Chemical Romance
Final Fantasy : He Poos Clouds - Because I love the sound of a Violan being looped like fuck. The Piano on This Lamb Sells Condos is legit
The Early November : The Mother, The Mechanic, The Path - Because all three of the discs rock [I might be the only one who loves The Path]
Gym Class Heroes : Cruel As Cruel Children - It's fun
He Is Legend : Suck Out The Poison - brutal southern metal with a soft side
