Current mood:  optimistic
Woah. It's been awhile and things have been both very active yet inactive at the same time?

I finally got Pro Tools up and running and I have been recording like a madman. I'm aiming to have at least three albums done by the summer. One intended for CD, one intended for CD-R, and one that is top secret for now.
Things have been REALLY weird in terms of material too. Shit has gone way poppier, more melodic, but I'm feeling like things are even more outsider and weird at the same time.
A couple weeks ago I did a very emo/post-hardcore track. I've got a couple math-y sounding tunes. Last night I recorded something that was maybe influenced by the Death Wish 3 soundtrack, just very funky/disco/80's rock. Oh - and I've been doing a lot more vocals. A lot more of them, and a lot more effort. Writing lyrics. Etc.
I've posted a new track called "Social Ghost" that I think worked out pretty good. If you feel like you have some feedback/criticism/comments/whatever about the song, feel free to post them on here or message me or something. I'm always open to hearing feedback and I need more of the people kind and less of the noise kind these days.

Okay, check out this video that Cameron Gerhke made for a song I did called "Of An Ended Torment" (off of the 'Mono Portrait' 3" CD-R, available from Jeshimoth):

We will be working together again very soon after he finishes a video for Sewer Goddess

Now, I have a few new releases available for sale. $5 each, as usual.
-split cassette with Crank Sturgeon
-split cassette with Sterile Gardens

Always up for trades. Always up for whatever.

My friend Kevin, who runs the fabulous label IN YR DISK, is currently running VERY LOW of the two albums he put out by me, "City of Women" and "Women in Love".
"Women in Love" is my first cd-r that was ever released on a label. It's back in the dark harsh-psych-drone days. Fun disc. Old schoooooooool. "City of Women" was probably my first albums where I started to go into more pop territory. There's some really poppy songs on there, also some great psyched out weird stuff, some drony metal stuff, and a hardcore-with-keyboards song. Probably my first album where I felt like I wasn't just jumping on any bandwagons and was starting to play something more true to myself. Either way, both these discs are disappearing forever, hit up THIS WEBSITE RIGHT HERE to go ahead and order the remaining copies. And who knows, maybe there will be a future release on In Yr Disk! We shall see!

Next show I have lined up is on Friday July 10th at SMILING BUDDHAS (961 College St.) with AUN, Light of Shipwreck, and Skullbong. Starts at 9pm. $6. I will most likely be on first or second? I'll have to find out. Either way, show up early.

Now, since I am recording again, I have to ask the famous question:
DO I OWE ANYBODY ANYTHING? I feel like I have a few splits that I owe material to. If I owe you material, just message me and we'll make it happen!

As for the two previous albums that I finished over a year ago, DISSONANCE and LIAR, they both need homes. Anyone that wants to put them out on CD-R or Cassette is totally welcome to, just e-mail me ( bobtherockstar @ hotmail . com ) or message me on here.

So to sum it all up:
-Recording tons of music, check out "Social Ghost" demo on the myspace page and let me know what you think.
-Watch the video Cameron made for "Of An Ended Torment" -> video
-Buy my splits with Crank Sturgeon and Sterile Garden! $5!
-Buy "City of Women" and "Women In Love" off of INYRDISK, they are gonna be gone forever very very soon - > buy it here
-Playing a show Friday July 10th at Smiling Buddhas (961 College St.) with Aun, Light of Shipwreck, and Skullbong.
-Do I owe you music?
-Release some cd-rs for me! Please?

Thanks.
-Bob.
