Moving up into the Top 10 this year is a song that first gained some signficant prominence with its inclusion in an episode of The L Word.  Ever since then, the song's made a mark for itself in various locales of SL wherever I've DJ'd.  From L Word fandoms to places outside of that, this great remix of a Gossip song has become popular in its own right.

5 - Def Leppard w/ Tim McGraw "Nine Lives"
2008 Position - Unranked

Debuting on the list this year and the highest ranking song in the 500 using male vocalists, Def Leppard has an unlikely team-up with Tim McGraw and provides a rockin' number.  Last year, Def Leppard's highest ranking was 15th with, "Pour Some Sugar On Me (Historia Version)."  Since then, Def Leppard has released new material in which, "Nine Lives," is included.  It's good to know that after thirty years together, Def Leppard can still rock out with good stuff.  It's also good to know that Tim can successfully team with someone other than his wife.
