i guess there is some confusion.  we are not playing any shows "this" winter.  we had some shows booked in january of 2006.  that was the winter of 2006 shows we played. sorry about that.

whats going on?  well junior got married this year and is expecting a child in january/february.  he is also about to open up a music school/shop in lee's summit, mo.  stacy is still stuck with manual labor and video games.  i, nathan ellis, am currently waiting for the JACKIE CAROL cd to come back from press, and working 60 hours a week.  i'm also working through the internet with some faraway friends on a new band that will make an introduction in the next month or two.

other than that we have no news.  perhaps some Casket Lottery shows in 2007?  I don't know.  we'll just have to wait and see.

thanks for visiting.

James A.

if you do reunite, please if in any ay possable, make it out west. TCL was and will always be close to my musical heart. very excited for the jackie carol record to drop, everything ive heard has been great. any insight into what style the new group might be?

Seems like you've all got a pretty firm grasp on reality. Eventually you get old and realize that having a real life (career, family, friends) trumps the life you wish you'd had. Touring is fun shit, and don't get me wrong, TCL writes some amazingly clever music that I enjoy very much, but these days it's incredibly hard to live comfortably ,solely off of that sort of income.

I'd still like to see another record(s) in the future. Keep on keepin' on guys!

Seconded, albeit very late, but my preference is for SC or NC.  Virginia scares me.

well, if you do play another show, make sure there's a midwest one.

we (molitor) will probably all go to it. I (erv) have recently turned all my bandmates onto the beauty that is TCL and they are in love!

ps:  the last show (Cactus Club, Milwaukee, WI) is still one of the best shows I've ever been to!
