hey y'all, wanted to make sure ya knew about these shows.  i'm told the bottletree show is gonna sell out (it's with Lucero), so if ya want to come to that one, better grab some tix now......

if ya can't catch us at this one because of sellout/price/whatever, come see us mar 12 at workplay.  normally we don't do shows so close together in bham, but we figured that the lucero show would be real hard to get into so we jumped on this other one at workplay.  it's a benefit for skybucket/soca's day party at sxsw, to help em pay for the venue and all.  also playing:  vulture whale, through the sparks, the grenadines, and indian red.

additionally, we're at mellow mushroom in tuscaloosa friday mar 13, and at government street grocery in ocean springs, MS on sat mar 14.  then it's off to sxsw.  we're on friday mar 20 at Wave on the Consequence of Sound Showcase, which is a great music blog about live shit (consequenceofsound.com).  they asked us to throw in with them, and we were delighted.  then the soca/skybucket day party sat mar 21 at creekside.

we're excited to announce that our buddy Lee Bains (arkadelphia, dexateens) is jumping on board with us for the march shows, gonna rip some guitar, howl out some backing vocals, help us pitch a tent, etc.....we're staying in the state park just south of austin.  16 bucks a night.  s'mores.  ghost stories.  we're gonna take trey on a snipe hunt.  he's never been.  anyway.
