The Demon Rally Team achieved mixed results at this years Oregon Trail Rally. We went out of our way to prepare the car and entered ourselves in our first national competition.

Out of the block we hit trouble, a cooling issue on the third stage and an ignition problem on the fourth stage dropped us back 6 minutes on the first day.

On day two we came out strong...too strong. A mistake on the first stage dropped our car off the edge of a 50 foot ravine, luckily a stump stopped the car from rolling to the bottom. after being pulled out by sweep, we lost 40 minutes on the stage and fought back the entire day on used tires through the slower cars.

On day three our efforts finally paid off. With new tires on the car and a renewed effort the team was out to make a name for ourselves. On the third stage we were the fastest group two car placing 1st in our group, 1st in the regional rally and a top ten time in the National rally. The last day made our weekend. had we not pulled a bogus time penalty we would have finished third in the regional rally and first in the group 2 rally at the end of the day. Truly great results for a team with issues the whole weekend!
