Both the Arizona Derby Dames and Red Dirt Rebellion Rollergirls competed in the Battle on the Bank II with similar results, but never faced each other during the tournament. Arizona Derby Dames fell to Team Legit (who went on to finish in 3rd place) in their first bout at the tournament, and then went on to defeat the Las Vegas Renegades in their second bout. The Red Dirt Rebellion Rollergirls were defeated by the Los Angeles Derby Dolls (who finished 2nd in the tournament) in their first bout of the competition, but defeated Hurricane Alley Roller Derby later in the day. With similar outcomes, the match up between the Derby Dames and Red Dirt Rebellion could be a close one.

Arizona Derby Dames have an amazing line up for this Oklahoma City bout featuring a great mix of vets and talented rookies. The team will be lead by Arizona Derby Dames founder, Suzy Homewrecker, as captain and long time vet and Coffin Dragger, Ginger Mortis, as co-captain. The rest of the roster includes Hether Skelter, Kat Von Double D’s, Nurse Ratchet, Hate’cha Face, Dr. Mary Lu Botomy, Sally Whacker, Alkaline Trina, Tabby T. Bag, Mighty Menace, Goody Goody Blooddrop, Rowdy Roulette, Ellie Mayhem, Hillary Skank, Heidi Salami, Killin Mae Smallz, Rogue Kill and Mami Chula.

Founded in July 2007, the Red Dirt Rebellion girls worked hard for almost a year to raise the funds to build and house their banked track. Luck helped them along in the form of a phone call from Drew Barrymore's production company in April 2008. The famous "Charlie's Angels" actress was looking for a banked track to use in the filming of her directorial debut movie titled "Whip It!" based on the novel Derby Girl written by Shauna Cross. Production on the film is complete and the film will be widely released by Fox Searchlight on October 9, 2009. Now Red Dirt Rebellion has their banked track back and up and running and are ready to hold their first ever bout on the track with the help of the Arizona Derby Dames.

The Arizona Derby Dames will bring their three and a half years of bout production and skating experience to help out the Red Dirt Rebellion Rollergirls, while Red Dirt offers the Dames a chance to see what it takes to be a banked track league, including the hard manual work and extra production required to pull it off.
