Is it just me, or does Orange Juice, even out of a plastic bottle, taste better in Florida? I do know that a dip in the Atlantic Floridian coast at Palm Beach was exactly what Mike and I needed. We don't get to see a whole lot of nature on tour and it was good to see that the ocean is still the ocean. I also noticed that I'm still as pasty-white as ever. I'm pretty sure people thought Mike and I were ghosts with earrings walking on the sand. We got to play with a pretty cool little fiddler crab. His eyes were bugging out when we tried to pick him up.

On another note, our shows in Florida were killer. High energy crowds make for good times. We apologize to Barlow Girl and their fans for having to soundcheck during their set at WayFest in West Palm. But I'm glad we prepared. For the rock was about to ensue. That was "hands-down" a top-5 favorite show of mine and one that I will not soon forget. We even got to throw toast at the audience. The best thing about it was playing outdoors in the evening...something we've rarely been given the chance to do. Thanks to the crazy WayFest concert-goers, a beautiful Florida evening, and a cool guy named Mike ? helping us with the PA system. We can officially say that we rocked West Palm Beach.
