I just found this today.... I cried for about an hour before I called Allen's mom Ida. I'm going to visit them this weekend and to take Reign to see Allen... I miss him so much... he wasn't my father but he was my only dad...

Allen Hennesey

Funeral services were held last weekend for Allen Hennesey, 45, of Jewett who
died Thursday, Feb. 21, in Temple.

Mr. Hennesey was born in Millington, Tennessee to parents Edwin and Ida
Hennessey.

He graduated from Tell City High School in Indiana and served in the United
States Army.

Mr. Hennesey moved to Jewett in 1984.

He was employed as an electrician for more than 20 years and was a member of
the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.

Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 1, at Sardis
Cemetery with Rev. Ray Payne officiating.

Mr. Hennesey is survived by parents Edwin and Ida Hennesey of Jewett; paternal
grandmother Vesta Hennesey of McKinney; sister Eddana Polston of Temple; and
nephews Josh Ward and Nathan Polston, both of Corpus Christi.

He was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Allen Hennesey; maternal
grandparents Gus and Betty Nugent; brother Porter John Ward, Jr.; sister
Patricia Ward; nephew Damon Ward; and niece Christi Leah Polston.
