I will. Although I completely understand how busy Henry is, it would be nice if wrote his own blogs.;)
BTW, I'll be reading it while holding my nose. AH is a huge phony in my book, not to mention an old gold digger.

Geez, Henry, ya got me all misty eyed. That was easily one of the nicest, most heartwarming things I've read about my hometown in a long time. Thank you.

It broke my heart to have to leave New Orleans last year after having crashed and burned from the emotional and environmental stressors, but I had to get out to stay sane looking at all that is still just sitting there, waiting some someone to give a shit.

I rode out that storm, in my apartment on Rampart Street. The next day, I got up and went to work, tending bar in The Quarter, completely unaware that the bullet we thought we dodged was really a cannonball.

Living in my neighborhod after the storm was like living in a war zone.... in fucking America!

It's nice to know that people still care about what's going on (or still not going on) and are bumping it back up in people's minds so we don't forget the important lessons learned.

Thanks again.

"whoever took you to school on blogging and tagging seems to have missed a few subtle details on actually getting you to know what you need to know to accomplish what you are trying to accomplish."

Hey, are you even connected? Must have been a local router down. The link worked for me AND I was able to link to Hank's videos from there.

Heavens, folks: Henry Rollins is a busy man. Do not let this modern age fool you into believing he or anyone else has enough time for all....

Viva le Henry.

How come you say that Henry didn't write this blog? I've written Henry several times and he has ALWAYS gotten back to me inspite of his heavy schedule! That to me says a lot about this man. Henry was and is my hero, if only more of the punk rock age had turned their lives into what Henry has done, the world might be even more of a better place to live.

Thank you for sharing this heartfelt piece. Granted it is a plug for a show on IFC, but it's a plug that was needed and I would have felt rotten had I missed it. This echoes many of the sentiments he expressed live in Missoula, MT in 2005. I love to hear his thoughts and he always writes me back promptly, so I have no doubt this is his writing.

I liked the blog that Henry posted. Very insightful. Trying to get IFC this weekend, so that when they re-air it, I can watch it. That should be very interesting to watch.

Maybe one day Henry will run for office. We could use someone of his intelligence in Washington.

I DID read it, I DID love it and I DO love New Orleans. I've only been there once and was treated so warmly by total strangers, even as a lone female traveler. I want something to go back to and visit again.
