28 July 2007 is a very important night.  It's going to be exactly 10 years since our mate Nick died of cancer and we're getting together with Trouble 'n' Strife and a bunch of other mates to celebrate his life.

Nick was a music lover, drummer and all-round good bloke.  Both me and Laurence both played in many bands with him, as did members of T'n'S. 

More importantly he was a good mate and me and a good many others spent many happy hours (literally!) drinking, listening to music, watching bands, just talking and all the other things you do with good friends.

The 28th will be a cracking night down at the Back Bar.  As well as the bands we're hoping that some of Nick's mates will get up on stage and do some solo slots.  We're expecting members of Nick's family and some rarely seen old friends to turn up.

We're going to be trying to raise some money as well, either for charity or for some sort of memorial.
