I promissed my gramma I'd record her a cd-r with some Nelson Gonçalves tunes. It's her favorite singer, you know. I promissed 2 months ago, and my mother ALWAYS come to ask if it's done.
You now, I avoid work. So I procrastinate it the most I can, right? And it's logical that it's not ready, and won't be ready till, I don't know, Kill Bill vol. 47.
So today, my mother comes to me, again, and ask if it's done, I say it's not, and she goes:
- Anyway, I don't want it to become the suicidal-book fable.
- What is this about?
- You know, the guy asks another guy for this "Suicidal Book", that is some kind of book that makes you don't kill yourself when you feel like you want to do it... but anyway, and the owner of the book NEVER lends him, till someday... the owner kills himself.
- And?
- That's it, that's the moral.
- Yeah... hm, er... I guess if he died, it's because he was so pissed of those requests... BUT, for this fable works, you know, who has to die, it's the guy that asks for the Suicidal Book. This would make the owner of the book regretful for not lending him the book.
- Just record your gramma cd, ok?
