Great movie, and probably one of the only things in MONTHS that was actually worth the effort of taking a trip to the theatre to go see.
My only gripe about the film is that there is ZERO monster development plot. It just shows up, does it's thing, and 'Cloverfield' ensues. There should have been a prologue/epilogue, or at least some sort of side-story that detailed the creature's origins.
Good news is that there is actually a FULL SCREEN 30-45 seconds of the monster mixed in with glimpses and glances here and there, and the handicam aspect isn't as shitty as I had assumed it to be.
Go see it, it's groovy.
