It's true I've been going through a hard time, where Satan had me thinking about all the stupid choices I made, places where I could have witnessed to someone, ministered to a brother in Chirst ect. and didn't. thought about these things so much that I couldn't see God's love for me all I felt was that I was a failure, these choice may not have been about drinking or drugs but the result felt the same. when one day I was talking to God thinking about all those choices he told me "My Grace has covered it." I said "Why I don't deservs it." all he said after that was "It's because I Love You." I broke down it tears. Romans 8:38-39 says " For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angles nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God that's in Chirst Jesus" no matter what you do God loves you, Jesus died a horrible death, after sweating blood, a crown of thorns (those thorns are about 2 to 3 inches long) being jabbed in his head, wipped 39 (to the point hie organs were showing), he was hung on a cross. thats love he endured all that to show you his love which can and will set you free from every chain you feel inside.
