What a morning I had, oh my.  As I was getting ready this morning, I managed to step on a toothpick and impale my foot.  It went through the bottom of my foot between my big toe and second toe and it came out through the top of my foot.  I just looked at it for a minute - I couldn't believe that it actually happened.  Then I freaked out.  I couldn't get the stupid thing out - it wouldn't budge.  I started freaking out, just knowing that I would have to go to the ER with one shoe, hopping to the car in the snow... ugh!  

Well, after freaking out for ten minutes or so, I managed to work the thing out of my foot and avoid a trip to the ER.  It actually doesn't hurt too much - it didn't hurt too much when it happened, either.  I actually stopped freaking out enough to snap a picture with my camera phone and send it to a couple of people.  Wanna see?
