I just got home from Eau Claire, WI.  We were supposed to play at a wonderful little place called the Nucleus with our friends, NOW NOW EVERY CHILDREN (they have an EP out and if you don't own it yet, there is something wrong with you).  Turns out that there were two or three proms going on and a battle of the bands at the local college, so the awesome dude that was running the show (Mike) informed us "nobody is going to come.  Here's money for showing up.  Do you want to go ride go-karts?"  The correct answer to that question, no matter what circumstance is always YES.  And so we made our way to Action City.  As promised, we rode go-karts and on top of this, we also hit the batting cages, mini-bowling and laser tag.  This was far and AWAY the best show cancellation consolation in history.  If you are ever in Eau Claire, I highly recommend going to ACTION CITY.

I am sincerely sorry to anyone that came to the show that was canceled.  Next time we hit Eau Claire, I'll pay for a go-kart race for just the 5 of us (I, Colossus and you).  Thanks to Mike and the Nucleus for making the trip 100 percent worthwhile and also to Now Now Every Children for kicking it 4th grade birthday style in Action City.  Much love.
