Hey yall! I know we're already 5 days in, but just wanted to welcome you to 2007 & wish you all a good one! I hope New Year Eve was good for you.  I was and still am in Charlotte, NC at home enjoying my family. Me & my friends Sanita & Mimi went downtown & celebrated  @ the "Big Chill", had a ball !!! I hope this year holds exciting things for me & hopefully for you too.  Its time to get to work!

I was very sad to hear that we had lost THE great "James Brown" over the holiday. We lost a few goods one this year; my good friend, Sean McNeil, Ed Bradley, Gerald Levert which was absolutely devastating, and now James Brown; MAY YOU ALL REST IN PEACE. YOU MAY NEVER KNOW HOW YOU'VE IMPACTED OUR LIVES. YOU WILL BE GREATLY & SORELY MISSED !!!

NOW......we're counting down until JANUARY 23rd when SUNSHINE AT MIDNIGHT will be in stores and on the internet. Thank you guys so much for standing by me & waiting it out. I really appreciate your support!

Here's wishing 2007 be a LANDMARK year for you..:namespace prefix = v ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:vml" /> ..:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> Yes, the past couple of years we have lost quite a few great African-American legends, icons, etc. One minute your here and the next your gone--life is definitely precious everyday that we are live--AMEN to that!!!!

I had a quite and safe NEW YEAR didn't do anything exciting really lol but next year (which I say every year lol) will definitely be different. One I will be in a whole other state. I am relocating to NYC to pursue my dreams of working in the music/entertainment industry--behind the scenes. Don't have vocal chops like you girl lol lol WISH I did though!

You can count on this sista right hur lol to go and cop your album and tell my friends to do the same. One of my closest friends saw you live actually awhile back in NYC at a music showcase put on my Mr. Knowles and Music World. She said you TORE IT UP!!!! Congrats on everything and can't wait to see you perform live myself one day! PEACE!!
