I (Derrick) played an impromptu solo set at the Remember This club night in The Drop Bar in Tokyo on the 30th September! We went to this all night club as it was around the corner from our friend Paul's flat in Kichijori. With the admittance fee you got a compilation cd for the night. Bizarrely there was a Hey Paulette track on it called 'Inconsewuential'!! The cd also contained many fine gems of indie obscureness. 

Within ten minutes of arriving Hey Paulette was been played by the DJ's!     Then from nowhere four Hey Paulette 12 inches appeared from various people who were spinning records that night.  They insisted on me autographing them!  Then Toshiko from Apple Crumble records insisted that I played some songs solo before the main act, Sloppy Joe. While I was going round in a daze my friends were roaring laughing at the total madness of it all.
