[GARBLED PUNK] Cafeteria Dance Fever is one of those bands that makes you rethink your entire approach to life, like, “Yeah, maybe I should join a garage band and tour Europe and scream and dance and draw dicks all over everything.” Then you realize that the quartet’s music, though untamed and lo-fi, is a perfect distillation of throwback youthful angst-rock that you’d rather visit every once in a while than life. Inside Voices pair gorgeous boy-girl harmonies with a perfect guitar tone and an overall tightness seldom found at the “opening for Cafeteria Dance Fever” level. CASEY JARMAN.
