June 2: Last Honchie show 'til Fall

Area jacklungs, you read right: Saturday, June 2 will be the last Honchie show until fall due to individual scheduling conflicts. So you had better attend this show in order to get your Honchie fill, or wait until September, jackass:

Last night we played with Devon Allman's band, Honeytribe. The best part of the show? When Doug referred to the group as "Honey Tits." A beautiful moment.

If you are in a band, I would avoid two things: 1) playing the Rockyard (rockyardlive.com) and 2) playing on the same bill as Honey Tits. Nothing good can come out of either situations. Having dinner with Dick Cheney would be heaven compared to this. Trust us.

We'd like to thank those of you who stuck it out. We apologize for not hitting the stage when advertised–getting bumped to 1:20 a.m. was a shock to us as well. But on the bright side of things, if you survived Honey Tits' laborious two-hour set, then you got to experience Allman's heartfelt rendition of "Purple Rain." So HOT.
