Well, I've been here for close on two months now, gigging hard and wading through the demons that have been in my head for the last few months, getting it wrong sometimes and generally making an arse of myself in certain quarters, but I'm still alive and getting ready for the next instalment of this far eastern trip - Thailand for two weeks starting on Saturday.

I am gigging regularly but it's hard work lugging your PA system around in this kind of heat and humidity.  On a slightly brighter note, I don't think I've ever played or sounded this good, so that's a positive thing to come out of this whole situation.  And I'm looking forward to kicking some butt in Pai and Chiang Mai.

Still off the piss and not doing anything that gives you a hit apart from drinking Chai Masala, it hasn't really helped me get things right but I suppose I would have been getting a lot more things wrong if I had still been doing the drugs!
