hi everyone.

to start, we apologize for the dormant state of our online character these past several months. i'm sure many (three) of you have terribly missed the show updates, mass e-mailings, snazzy action shots, and whatever other memorable marketing tactics we may have engaged in at some point or another. we will try to do better.

in the spirit of righting past wrongs, we've launched a new website. it contains some new pictures and various other tidbits pertaining to the creation of a new cd, which will be available at some point between now and 2009. ben and i are marginally hard at work putting it together, but seeing as we have no one to enforce a deadline, it could take a while. you can check the website periodically if you like, as we hope to post cryptic progress reports at irregular intervals:

in other news, andrew and animal are getting back on the school bus this fall. sadly, this means they will no longer be rocking with us. they will, however, continue to rock in our hearts and memories, and possibly the occasional fever dream. they are awesome dudes, and we will miss them a borderline inappropriate amount.

while ben and i are not actively recruiting replacements at the moment, we might be somewhere down the line. so if you like our music and think you got what it takes to join the channels family, let us know and we'll be sure to keep your resume on file.

i already put this in a message, but in case you enjoy persistence/ felt like ignoring it, here it is again:

RESUME:
1. been playing since i was 11
2. studied music performance in philadelphia at the university of the arts (yes, i'm an art school drop out.)
3. i play guitar, bass, and piano
4. my bass is orange
5. the action on my bass is about 10 inches off the neck,(due to a cardboard shim holding the neck to the body) making it much like biff's car in 1955- i'm the only one who can play it
6. i'm the singer for conservative man, which means i can do backups if needed
7. i tune all of my instruments up a whole step, which makes for great communication with other musicians. (and by great i mean confusing.)
8. i've had plenty of experience as a session player/gun for hire, so i know my role, and wouldn't infringe on preset creative conditions
9. i love your music, and would love to play it
10. i just want to play

so yeah, consider this. feel free to respond whenever, however, whatever. i'll be in deep space, so if you have any questions, send me a signal via satellite. thanks for your time.
