I’ve made no bones about my support of Mr. Obama for President, but I have been a little reluctant to voice my displeasure for the Hillary campaign and its rather efficient but ruthless tactics.

I’ll let mr. Keith Oberman do it for me.

and no, they probably won’t redo Florida and Michigan because they couldn’t olay nice the first time, and I am pretty certain Florida should be very weary of being disenfranchised, and I am really surprised that this nation is too apathetic to riot about things like that.

and really, Gas prices can inflate 300% in 8 years?
man, I used to think being president was largely cerimonial, till I saw what one screw up could do to a country....

I think the Dems have screwed themselves up this year, with this primary fight. The best to hope for now is that McCain doesn't do too much damage over the next 4 years & then they can try again in 2012.

Really?

Malice Green? Latosha Harlins (sp?)? Abner Louima? All of that, no riots. You think people'd run amok over campaign mudslinging?

I hope that your wife is so intoxicating that she's robbed you of your good sense, and that you're not blogging drunk again ... >8^p

and really, Gas prices can inflate 300% in 8 years?

To be fair, the gas companies threatened to do that for years, pointing at gas prices in other countries. It just took electing one of their own to distract with a war and all that to finally make it happen. Watch the news and note how many "energy" companies post record profits. As Nas said, "it ain't hard to tell."

But we're too comfortable with our high speed internet access and our rent payments and our hundreds of channels to get up and kill anybody over any of it.

I wasn't saying riot over the mudslinging but over the citizens of Florida losing their right to vote in the Democratic Primary because of a Republican Administration's decision to move up their vote. After all the silliness that surrounds Florida elections you would think that someone down there could paint up a protest sign or something.

On the oil thing, yeah, put the right person in the right place and you can rake in profits on the backs of the American people. Its all very 1880's Oil Baron-ish to me,
History repeating itself in the MTV generation, and no one is savvy or capable enough to care or do anything.
That way lies apathy...

mmmm, High speed internets.
