Hey there Bone Heads, and welcome to our little spot on myspace. Those of you who know the band know what we’re all about. For those of you who don’t know us, here’s a little background. As much as I hate to classify our music, I guess we’re basically a jam band. The three of us come from pretty different backgrounds, but we’ve all been playing a long time, and love what we do. When we play out, we cover a lot of Grateful Dead tunes, some Phish material, as well as a whole bunch of other stuff, but the emphasis is always on the jam – we go where the song takes us, and it’s never the same from night to night. We like to reconfigure standard covers into something a little unexpected. That keeps us on our toes, and gives you guys something a little different to listen to. Right now we’re in the process of putting together a full-length CD of our original material. The first of the completed songs is up and playing right now. The whole recording process is taking a long time, so we’re notplaying out a hell of a lot, but we’re pleased with the results so far. Special thanks to Bill who’s engineering this project and to James Redd who’s handling the mix-down responsibilities. If you haven’t come out to see the band play yet (or if you haven’t been in a while) we’re going back to the Rat in Frenchtown at the beginning of March for what promises to be a great night. Hope to see some of you there. I love that place, and we always play well – the vibe is great there and it really conducive to the jam.
