We never wanted to be proper pop stars,
We just wanted to be as big as fantastic something "

It's super-rare for a band's first release to thrust them into thousand of music lovers' hearts.
but these guys did, yet that's exactly this year when Astrolab released The Blue Thread Saga, a remarkably soulful mix of roots - inspired indiepop that resonated strongly with fans of all things tunefull and waving. got them a deal with maritime records for their firstcoming album the strenght of artfully, so pure as ambient!
had you surfed onto Astrolab myspace page earlier this month, a picture of their album cover would have greeted you, squint harder and you'd discover that isn't an old snapshot of the Blue Thread Dany Badra (vocal/guitar), Rangga Kuntara (guitar), Andri Diana (bass), Ibnu Hafidz Alim (keyboards) and Yoki Adhitama (drums) known as "Band Kecil dengan Ambisi Besar" I'm fukkin agree with that statement taken from national newspaper named sindo, they have been 4 years stick around together before 2007's the blue thread saga after finally deciding to released november last year adn drew some attention for the indie-pop hipster kiss off.
