Since the ice cream shop there has been a new wave of activity here at FM towers... Not that sort of new wave... No angular fringes here!!

The ice cream shop was (and still is) the brilliantly located, dairy-laden sugar rush that is G&D's on Cowley Road... We played a gig there the other day for Jack at Alcopop Records with the rather magnificent Candle Thieves... and their toy piano!

The gig went down really nicely and the audience just wouldn't stop clapping... We would prefer to think that it was the music rather than the chocolate sprinkles!

Candle Thieves are thoroughly nice boys and their music is great, so definitely check them out...

Since then we have been in the studio recording some more new material, which is starting to take form a little now... We have skeletal versions of  a few tracks and, like some crazy Dr Frankenstein, we are looking to add the flesh as soon as is (in)humanly possible... Perhaps before to long we should be able to look up from the mixing desk in our blood spattered white coats and, with a crazed look in our eyes, cry "IT'S ALIIIIIVE!"

Or perhaps we'll have some some tea and biscuits and burn a copy to disc.
