holy smokes!

the fine folks at NPR are featuring a Miss Murgatroid/Petra Haden song as their "Song of the Day" today! They chose "Fade Away", one of my personal faves, if only for the outrageous string and accordion bridge we were SO proud of concocting at the time. also, this particular tune features plenty of singing from both of us and actual lyrics penned by yours truly about loves more temporal qualities.

anyhoo, if you are or are not familiar with my musical escapades as Miss Murgatroid, this is a fine chance to get up in it...so to speak.
