So I've seen a few "festivals" going on in the local area here for a bit. I commend everyone that puts forth the effort to put together a festival because its hard work. However I think perhaps that the most impressive Festival to be put together in this area may take place on November 28th at Gullifty's Underground. I may be biased of course but I think that when you see the lineup for this event you are gonna be pretty excited. There will be a certain "flow" to it. This show will be called "The Morning Star Festival". Last year we did the show in June. We are trying it in November this year and we are doing it on Thanksgiving weekend. Any ideas for fun? Please let me know if you have any idea's for the show. We are of course gonna have some sponser tables lined up and perhaps even some games of some sort, contests and stuff of that nature. What really makes a festival though is the bands and not 50 shitty bands but good quality bands. If you are interested in playing the Morning Star Festival this year please let me know. Right now we have a pretty good start to our lineup...
BOB - of course this is mainly like Korns Family values show, only we replaced family values w/ morning star and Korn w/ Bob. This is a show named after a Bob song and they are always welcome up here and to be honest I"ve heard a ton of buzz on their return already and its way over two months away.
OURAFTER - This scranton powerhouse of a band does not get down here that often. Its been almost a year since they've played gullifty's.
THE TAKEN - A new band featuring members of Deja Vudoo and Drop of Grey w/ a new to the scene singer who has a aura all her own (already). You never ever wanna miss them perform.
Thats about a quarter of the lineup. We have Two HUGE headliners we are working on this week and it would be a good idea to stay tuned to be one of the first hear of these and other announcements.
